About the Vineyards
Stonewall Creek Vineyards began in 2004 with the purchase of a cabin, a barn, and 5.8 acres of previous orchard property. The Facklers, former owners of Stonewall Creek vineyards, planted the first 150 Malbec vines in 2005. Winemaking started in 2011, and the tasting room and outdoor patio overlooking the vineyard’s picturesque landscape were added three years later.
Mark and Sandi Diehl purchased the vineyard in 2018, which has grown to 7,000 vines on 7 acres and produces a variety of wines creating a unique wine experience. Current varietals on property include Malbec, Cab Franc, Petit Manseng, Traminette, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Tannat, Semillon, and Tocai Friulano. Norton grapes are purchased from nearby Stack Farm. Our winemaker, Mark Diehl, started making homemade wine in 2007, and his passion for winemaking is evident in the award-winning wines he produces at Stonewall Creek.
